Another Small Step Out Into the World

Tomorrow, at the early hour of 8am, I will have to leave the royal quarters for the outside world. This will be the second of my ventures into foreign kitchens where I will explore new things in places outside of my comfortable pastry school. I will be working with individuals I do not know in an environment that is more like training- so this princess will have to demonstrate to all of the employees her willingness to learn, and ability to catch on quickly

The previous experience involved venturing into the wondrous world of layered cakes. I learned many new things while at the same time seeing how what I had learned in pastry school can be applied in a real bakery. Though tomorrow will be quite different as I will be traveling a much greater distance as well as working in a completely different medium: chocolate. And, though I am very very excited, I am still nervous as to how all will go tomorrow.

Though! I have the highest of hopes~ I believe that my skills will be recognized and that I will come away with employment sometime soon. But, until then, I will keep working hard to find the perfect place into which I will fit~
