Cleaning the Castle

Today I had to wake quite a bit earlier than I would have liked to- there was much to get done before the Prince and Miss Alice would return from their schooling. The Prince asked if I would kindly pick up a few functional items for the powder room.

So, now, I am quite happy to say that the toothbrushes have their own proper place, cotton balls are in a pretty glass apothecary canister, a matching black bathmat is on the floor, and my strawberry hand soap has a new pump. (The only thing I can see this room needing now is some kind of organization for toiletries near the the bathtub and some kind of decorative accents like flowers or picture frames.)

But my revamping of the entire place did not end with the bathroom as I soon moved into the living/ dining room. This was where I needed to take down all of the Christmas decorations... which included removing all of the mercury glass ornaments from the Christmas tree and putting them away, then moving the tree into the bedroom with making it look extremely awkward.

Phew! All of this work was definitely for a good reason though.

Tomorrow, Miss Alice, the Prince and I will be spending and entire day being lolita and doing lolita-esque activities. (We will later be joined by Miss Ariel.) We were all informed that a friend of a friend was doing a class project on lolita fashion and wanted to interview and film local lolita. Our friend, Mr. Poon, helped arrange this and now we will all be able to talk with others about something we all are passionate about.

So, why spend an entire day doing entirely lolita things? Because it is fun, my dear readers~! We've made delicious plans for food, and places to travel within the city and I am very excited. This also means that the posts following this will surely be filled with photographs of all kinds.
