Family Dinners

The past week has been an amazing adventure into the world of savory cooking. I can say that I am quite used to baking for groups of people, but in terms of preparing a delicious evening's feast, I severely lacking in experience. But, thanks to the efforts of Miss Alice, Miss Ariel and the Prince I have started to learn how to hone my skills in this area.

I believe it was Miss Alice who suggested to the lot of us that we start having "family dinners". And, now that she has moved into my city, we all found the suggestion all the more feasible. So, all of us ladies pooled our money together for this week's meals: chicken pot pie with buttery short-crust, Indian potato curry with cashews, home-made macaroni and cheese, and beef stew.

I believe we'll soon start moving the family dinner setting to either Miss Ariel's or Miss Alice's houses, but, for now, it's at my own.

I definitely recommend this idea to other ladies since... it's cost-effective, an educational experience, and a chance to bond and chat over a delicious meal.
